The politics of culture - Part 3

“Cultural outsider” might apply to anyone outside the Establishment from Christ on. The Establishment is now entrenched and intent on remaking everyone in their digital image. Image isn’t exactly the word, though. During an interview film-making outsider Jean-Luc Godard demonstrated his antipathy toward some Jewish film-makers (particularly Spielberg) by classifying their films as “text” not “image”. To the nouvelle vague (1960s), impro and unplanned adventure were operational words, not the dead hand of text.

Godard is an averred admirer of US pulp heroes, Alphaville being une etrange aventure de Lemmy Caution (and Breathless also being a pastiche of US gangster films). I have to admit to a fascination for US adventure serials of the 40s – reissued by ACcomics who also do “no-budget” remakes utilizing digital techniques as the means to their retro-culture end.  There’s a slight connect to Japanese action-based drama in the fluid simplicity of direction. Nyoka, set in colonial era Libya, has all the pulp tropes you could wish for, from chariot chases to hidden valleys, more REH than ERB (eg The Lost Valley of Iskander). Best of all, acting is barely there, replaced by cuteness and crystal clear diction. There’s a lot of “Allah be praised” and “infidel dogs”, effective storytelling and scoring. and the irredeemably sexist cliff-hanger endings are literally tone-perfect.

Majority Rights: For Those Who Will See The Obvious..

noHitler

That Hitler and the Nazis were not White/European nationalists, nor can they represent the interests of White/European peoples.

I would like to clear the way further for Majority Rights as a place of sanity for White interests.

Indeed, if a former head of state where I am from had the attitude toward Germans and Germany that Hitler had, for example, toward Slavs and Eastern Europe, frankly, I would not boast of this man, but would be eager to leave him in the past as an embarrassing expression of overcompensation. I am frankly surprised that this is not the default position of every self-identifying White nationalist.

Hitler’s was a position which could only have led to inter-European fighting and diversion from our proper organization.

On the other hand, the Germans I meet in my travels, by sharp contrast, are very fine people; I am eager to help them, as I might, to ensure the flourishing of their particular native European form and ways; as well as to unburden them of undue guilt and foreign impositions. This generation had nothing to do with World War II, for better or worse. I am sure that there are sufficient many of them who see fit to participate in our mutual and discreet survivals as European nations and peoples.

I was ready to dive right-in with this frame of mind years, in fact decades, ago. One of the crucial issues obstructing this has been, and is, the absurd position of some self-proclaimed White Nationalists that we somehow need Hitler or to redeem Hitler. We need nothing of the kind. We need Europeans deeper and wiser. Let there be no mistake, those who insist upon Hitler and Nazism are Not White Nationalists.

Forty-five years of thought-free liberal-left emotionalism on race and immigration

Posted by Guessedworker on Sunday, 20 April 2014 00:31.

Today, we learnt exactly what it can mean for non-Moslem pupils when schools in England are dominated by Moslems.  In a word, Islamicisation:

Schools in Birmingham are illegally segregating pupils, discriminating against non-Muslim students and restricting the GCSE syllabus to “comply with conservative Islamic teaching”, an official report leaked to The Telegraph discloses.

Department for Education inspectors said that girls in a school at the centre of the so-called “Trojan Horse” plot were forced to sit at the back of the class, some Christian pupils were left to “teach themselves” and an extremist preacher was invited to speak to children.

The report, into three schools in the city, follows weeks of controversy over the alleged plot to “Islamise” secular schools in Birmingham and will lead to calls for intervention. The report focuses on Park View School and its sister schools, Golden Hillock and Nansen, the only primary of the three. Inspectors found that Park View practised forced and discriminatory sex segregation and has “restricted” GCSE subjects “to comply with conservative Islamic teaching”.

Core elements of the GCSE syllabus were missed out as “un-Islamic” and an extremist preacher with known al-Qaeda sympathies and anti-Semitic views was invited to speak with children. At Golden Hillock, there was discrimination against non-Muslims, the report found. Its handful of Christian students “have to teach themselves” in one GCSE subject after the teacher “concentrated on the students who were doing the Islamic course”.

At Nansen, Year 6 children, aged 10 and 11, received no teaching at all in the arts, humanities or music.

It’s all rather reminiscent of those far-off days when a constituent of Enoch Powell was talking about the black man having the whip hand over the white man.  Indeed, on the second of those two Telegraph pieces (both with comments open, which was odd) somebody helpfully posted the video of David Frost’s hour-long interview - cross-examination, really - of the great man in which that very matter is explored.  Frost considered it risible that Powell could consider such an event remotely possible.  Now we know better.  But in 1969 the liberal classes were only just learning how to impose their value system on the rest of us:

Their great fear was that speaking too truly and, certainly, too plainly might “stir up racial hatred” among the English.  The African and Asian colonisations must not be thought about too much because “hate” would be worse by orders of magnitude than anything else that could possibly happen.

Things haven’t changed much.  The same shallow attitudes prevail.  The liberal-left still thinks that “immigration” takes place in a consequential vacuum while dissent among the natives indicates the presence of “hate” - obviously, an irredeemably shocking and just not liberal state of affairs.  This, of course, is a deeply irrational point of view.  It is emotionally rooted.  It is faux-moralistic.  It does not respond in any way to facts or to reasoned argument.  I know from personal experience in the thread-war that it does not respond to proofs of liberal guilt or even total humiliation.  Nothing seems to touch it.  What, then, will?  What, if anything, are we missing?

Let’s talk lesbian, one of my favourite sexes. Why that should be I don’t know, but suspect is to do with strength, the Wonder Woman syndrome. Their strength endears them to me and, since I tend to like women more than men as a sex, that might be it. Whatever, it’s far from Freud, just being honest: sexuality is a type of honesty, like race, which is what I like about this website.

My approach to the two is virtually the same: being allowed to speak our minds does not imply a racially-charged atmosphere. Let me quote something from Damian Thompson quoting Peter Whittle of NCF (with approval) in The Telegraph:

“We must replace multiculturalism with integration.. Britain must be totally colour-blind but reject any subtle ambivalence about national pride” (huh?)

So, to be Right and acceptable you have to lie, according to Thompson. Unacceptable. Race is not something to be sneezed at, but an integral part of what makes being human interesting.

This is mainly about Lesbos, so let’s start with Tanita Tikaram, of Twist In My Sobriety. All the guys cited here have a type of flamboyance which is pretty obviously a facet of their sexuality. The lyrics to Good Tradition (from debut album “Ancient Heart”) have a folk-ish flavour – love/hate, fire/rain:

A Journey to The Hague – Chapter Two

Posted by Guessedworker on Thursday, 10 April 2014 19:01.

The second instalment of my latest never-to-be-pursued novel, for anyone who remembers the first.

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Ricky Kellogg was a man on a mission.  At twenty-five, he was the youngest sub working on The Guardian on-line edition.  He wasn’t proud of the fact.  Coining google-friendly headlines and standfirsts and saving ungrateful colleagues from their own laziness and illiteracy was not exactly how he had imagined spending his working day at this point in his glittering career.

In fact, he had only been in the role for three months.  Career-wise, it might as well have been a retirement home.  What he wanted, what he never tired of telling his editor-in-chief Miles Waldron, or anyone else who would listen, was a move back to investigative journalism on the print edition.

That had always been the plan.  That was why, as a sixteen year old fresh out of school, he had worked so hard to find a job – any job, just to get into the industry.  It was why he had done the same to get himself on the staff of a national.  But here he was, a fully-fledged, London-based pro with a good nose and some hardcore contacts in the right places.  When they finally started chasing internships, the middle-class boys and girls who had drifted through their gap year and a degree in Journalism or Politics & Economics, followed by an MA, were miffed to find that clever Ricky had been in paid employment all along and was burning up the word-strip ahead of them.  Or would be if he hadn’t been diverted into subbing.

“Look, Ricky,”  Waldron would explain with his customary patience and kindness, “you have to see this job as an opportunity, not a punishment.  It will give you the disciplined, methodical approach you need, and real insight into the digital and professional challenges of the job.  It will make you a better journalist.  Knuckle down for a year or so.  Make the most of what it has to offer.  Then we can talk about where you go from there.”

Competition’s Ontological Adjustment:

Posted by DanielS on Thursday, 10 April 2014 01:18.

Competition’s authentic value as opposed to its having been the most overvalued, misinterpreted biological fact of European Peoples’ interests (thank you Mr. and Ms. Dumb Bastard, Right-Winger).

viking

This will not be a rigorous piece, rather it is meant to shed some light on a few important considerations by moving them through the terministic screens of a personal history. The issues taken into consideration are the over-valuation of competition - which corresponds closely with boiling everything down to equality/inequality being the problem, that is, the stupid right-wing position of being against “egalitarianism” - to the detriment of other methodological concerns in evaluation of qualitative identity.

Objectivism results in a susceptibility in Europeans to having their enemies shift close genetic identity into objectivist individualism and liberalism, leading to their adopting an array of absurdly affected, non-European identities. While there can be many such diversionary sub-identities, such as student/teacher of a particular non-European study at university, universalism, eastern mysticism, religion, of course, even foreign cuisine, any full treatment of diversionary identity must address sub-identities in music and sports – these will be a predominant theme here as I am familiar with them as identities, strongly held, yet come to recognize where they were more or less diversionary from European identity, quasi identities and competitions to be set aside in favor of more authentic identity.

It should not be too hard to provide facts and numbers as to the impact of these competitions and identities on European people, nor that these can significantly diminish our resource of European identity. Nevertheless, while youth in particular may be susceptible to such diversionary competition and identity, these activities also model means of identity, social participation and evaluation in determination of authenticity which do not necessarily entail violent conflict, immediately lethal, zero sum results – which we should be particularly concerned to keep to a minimum within European genus and species.
